Airtel is leader in mobile services in India. It has verity of GPRS plans and here I am sharing how to set or configure Airtel GPRS settings for your mobile and PC.

Do you know Airtel GPRS is also known as Airtel Mobile office? Airtel offers cheap GPRS services to its customers under the brand name Airtel Mobile Office. So Airtel mobile office settings is same as Airtel GPRS settings. However, Airtel live service is a WAP service and the charges are different from Airtel GPRS.

Airtel GPRS settings (is same Airtel Mobile Office settings):

To set your mobile or PC to access GPRS from your phone you will need to edit

 Data barrier: GPRS
 APN: airtelgprs.com
 User Name:
 Password:
 Prompt Password: No
 Authentication: normal
 Homepage: http://www.google.com

Here you should know that you don’t need to fill anything in username and password field. Just keep these fields blank and set “Password Prompt” field to ‘No”.

Also you may set any homepage. Like http://www.google.com, http://www.yahoo.com or anything you like.

If you have any other settings in your mobile then do not change them. Smart phones have capability to configure the device automatically. However if you have any connectivity problem then you may check the data from above table.

But the best way to get your mobile configured automatically is to send SMS MO to 543210. You will get settings in few seconds.

TO get Airtel GPRS settings using SMS, send “MO” to 543210 or 52567.

GPRS @ Rs. 98. You will get 2GB data transfer on 2G network for 30 days.

Airtel GPRS: Not a bad choice.

Being an Airtel customer you will get widest coverage in rural area without any service interruption. They provide better connectivity, High speed internet (compared to other provider) and better support. But the only bad thing is the price. Airtel offers all these services at comparatively high price. But if you are looking for quality service then Airtel could be best option.
